Art Deco 0.70 Carat Diamond & 9.00 Carat Sapphire Pendant, circa 1935

A delicious statement pendant featuring a two synthetic sapphires, created to replicate the perfect Kashmiri cornflower blue colour, linked a pair of totally natural old cut diamond – both of which are of a very high quality. A fine Y shaped bar connect the pendant to the chain, keeping this perfectly balanced when worn, with further very delicate bars linking each of the gems.

Cut – Diamond are old cuts. The smaller sapphire is a faceted round cut and the larger is an oval cut.

Colour – Diamonds are G; virtually colourless.

Clarity – Diamonds are VS.

Carat – Each diamond is approximately 0.35. The smaller sapphire is estimated at 0.35, with the feature sapphire weighing in at approximately 9.00 carat.

Circa – 1935.

Measurements – The large sapphire is 16mm by 12.5mm. Pendant is 39mm from top to bottom. Chain is 15″.

Metal – 18k Gold. Tested.
