Art Deco 1.56 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1925
An unbelievably stunning engagement ring. The centre stone – a high white, internally clean and very lively old European cut – is secured in a stunning collet featuring delicate kite detailing in the gallery. The bold, shield shaped shoulders hold a rubover set old mine cut with eight eight-cut diamonds around it. Two further eight-cut diamond are set at the top of the fluted, platinum shank.
Accompanied by a diamond grading report from HRD Antwerp (#190000156845).
Cut – Old European cut in the centre. Old mine cut and eight-cut diamonds in the shoulders.
Colour – I in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders are F to I.
Clarity – SI1 in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders range from VS2 to SI1; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – A known 1.56 carat in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders add an additional approximate 0.25 carat.
Circa – 1925.
Size – L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The centre stone is 7.24 x 7.46mm. Sits 6.7mm from the finger.
Metal – Stamped PLAT – Platinum – and tests as such.
