Art Deco 1.88 Carat Natural Burmese Sapphire & Rose Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1915
A rich, dramatic sapphire that appears to glow from within. This gorgeous natural and unheated stone is presented in a stunning coronet cluster crafted in rose gold , with sixteen rose cut diamonds rubover set in the surround above a stunning hand-sawn gallery. Beautifully shaped shoulders leads to a tapering shank; a dream of a ring.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmoligical Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Burmese (Myanmar) in origin.
Cut – Oval cut sapphire and rose cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are I to J.
Clarity – The diamonds are SI; clean to the naked eye. The sapphire is loupe clean.
Carat – The sapphire is a known 1.88 carat. The estimated total diamond weight is 0.32 carat.
Circa – 1915.
Condition – One of the rose cut diamonds has been replaced with an eight-cut.
Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is 8.49 x 6mm. The head of the ring is 13.5 x 11.2mm and sits 5.9mm from the finger.
