Art Deco 2.31 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1920
A bold and really rather magnificent Art Deco diamond ring. The old mine cut in the centre is secured in an eight-claw open collet above a finely scalloped and mirrored back plate. Fine detailing in the gallery leads to wide, statement shoulders with twelve eight-cut diamonds (six each side) in a slightly curved step-down formation to a slim platinum shank. Early 20th century bling at its best.
Accompanied an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30307521).
