Art Deco 3.60 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1915
Beautiful in every possible way. The old cut diamond in the centre is utterly, utterly breathtaking; bright, internally clean and full of life. The centre stone is secured by six double claws, leading to shoulders set with ten (five each side) eight-cut diamonds. The “S” cheniers where the shoulders split and the fine engraving on the shank add further detail to this huge and hugely impressive diamond ring.
Cut – Old mine cut in the centre and eight-cuts in the shoulders.
Colour – J. (Accent diamonds are G.)
Clarity – VS2.
Carat – 3.60 carat in the centre, with an additional estimated 0.10 carat in the shoulders.
