Art Deco 4.17 Carat Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Double Cluster Ring, circa 1935
An astonishing sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The bright, denim blue sapphire is rubover and milgrain setting, and “floats” within a circle of twenty individually rubover set diamonds, with another circle (of twenty-eight diamonds) on the outside. The beautifully engraved under-gallery leads to a slim D-shaped shank. Utterly exceptional
