Art Deco 7.50 Carat Emerald & Rose Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1930
A glorious and impressive Art Deco ring crafted in platinum, with an electric crystalline green emerald-cut emerald. The emerald is rubover and milgrain set in 18k yellow gold, with eighteen rose cut diamonds set in the surround. Fine engraving is “hidden” in the under-gallery, with beautifully shaped shoulders leading to a slim D-shaped shank.
Cut – Step-cut emerald and rose cut diamonds.
Colour – Diamonds are G to I.
Clarity – Some visible inclusions in the emerald (which is common for emeralds). The diamonds are VS2 to SI1.
Carat – The emerald is approximately 7.50 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.32 carat.
Circa – 1930.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 19 x 16.5mm. Sits 6.4mm from the finger.
