Art Deco 8.20 Carat Cabochon Sapphire & Diamond Necklace, circa 1940
Wholly unique and desperately pretty. The large round cabochon sapphire displays a subtle asterism and, as the stone is not totally opaque, a discernible glow. The sapphire is mounted in a rubover collet and connects, via a pair of diamond set linking hoops, to a elegant and unusual chain. Wonderful.
