Art Deco Natural Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Trilogy Ring, circa 1940
A stunner. The natural, unheated sapphire in the centre is box-set, and is flanked by a pair of diamond clusters. Each diamond box is centred by an old European cut with four eight-cut diamonds in the corners. The eye catching “V” gallery leads to vented, diamond-set shoulders to a D-shaped shank. Bold, geometric and beautiful.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmoligical Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is of basaltic origin.
