Art Deco Opal & Baguette Cut Diamond “Sun Burst” Pendant, circa 1925

A fine Art Deco pendant with a round cabochon white opal in six claw platinum setting. Twelve baguette cut diamond – all are glowing white and very, very clean – “burst” from the opal. A fabulous, unique and beautiful piece.

On a fixed platinum chain.

Cut – Round cabochon opal and baguette cut diamonds.

Colour – Diamonds are F.

Clarity – Diamonds are VVS.

Carat – The opal is approximately 5.00 carat. Each of the twelve diamonds is estimated at 0.06 carat

Circa – 1925.

Condition – There are some scuffs on the opal near each of the claw. This are visible in the photos.

Measurements – The opal is 11.9mm is diameter. Including the diamonds, the pendant is 22mm in diameter. The chain is 17 inches.

Metal – Platinum. Tested.
