Early Victorian 10.00 Opal Ornate Filigree Bracelet, circa 1840

A magnificent one-off. This gloriously detailed bracelet features a mammoth white opal that shows a varied and intense play of colour. The bracelet itself is perhaps the most intricate items we’ve ever seen. The precise etching in the metal work is of the absolute highest standard. Very well preserved and timelessly arresting. A work of art.Cut – Oval shaped cabochon.

Carat – Approximately 10.00 carat.

Circa – 1840.

Measurements – The opal is 18.9mm by 13.3mm. The bracelet is 10mm, widening to 33.5mm at the widest point. Fits a 16cm wrist.
