Mid Century 20.00 Carat Emerald Cut Amethyst Brooch, circa 1950

A beautiful emerald cut amethyst of a deep regal purple in a simple but decorative mount, featuring lovely floral detailing in the gallery. A smashing piece which is at once delicate and bold.

The pin is secured with trombone clasp, so is very secure.

Cut – Emerald cut

Carat – Approximately 20.00 carat.

Condition – Signs of a small repair to one of the claws. Otherwise, excellent.

Circa – 1950.

Measurements – The amethyst is 19mm by 14mm. The setting is 26mm by 19.5mm

Metal – 9ct gold. Tested.
