Mid Century 25.00 Carat Opal & Pearl Ring, circa 1965
Let’s get right to it: this ring is big. Seriously big. The opal in the centre is around 25 carats and is surrounded by 19 pearls, which are themselves nice and substantial. But what you get in size here, you in no way make compromises on quality. The opal is gloriously lively with a varied play of colours. The natural grey colour of the cultured pearls works well again the white background of the opal. A wonderous and indulgent ring.
