Mid Century Ruby & Brilliant Cut Diamond Buckle Ring, circa 1960

A striking and glitzy realisation of a style that has been popular through the ages. The stylish buckle motif is outlined by fourteen pigeon blood rubies, and overlays a pavé diamond strap with two cabochon rubies on the buckle hinge. Nicely chunky and very, very cool.

Cut – Round brilliant cut diamonds. Cabochon rubies at the buckle “hinge” and square step cut rubies along the buckle.

Colour – Diamonds are F to G.

Clarity – The diamonds are VS1 to VS2. The rubies are clean to the naked eye.

Carat – The total approximate diamond weight is 0.42 carat. The total approximate ruby weight is 0.83 carat.

Circa – 1960.

Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available. There is some limit to how much this can be altered, so please contact us first if you would need this adjusting.

Measurements – The ring is 16.8mm at the widest point and sits 3.3mm from the finger
