Victorian Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Drop Earrings, circa 1870

Impossibly pretty. Each of the highly detailed and intricately designed earrings holds eleven old cut diamonds – rubover and milgrain set – and two curved lines of calibre cut sapphires. With four articulated parts, these striking drop earrings hang beautifully. A triumph.

The original Victorian screw backs can be replaced with modern posts and butterflies if you would prefer (for no added cost).

Cut – Old cut diamonds and calibre cut sapphires.

Colour – The diamonds are G.

Clarity – All the stones are clean to the naked eye.

Carat – Each earring holds approximately 0.68 carat of diamonds and 0.24 carat of sapphire

Circa – 1870.

Measurements – From the top diamond to the bottom diamond is 34.5mm. Each earring is 13.6mm at the widest point.
