Victorian Star Ruby & Old Cut Diamond Trilogy Ring, circa 1900
An unusual and very, very pretty trilogy ring. The central ruby displays a good, pink asterism and is flanked by a pair of high white cushion shaped old mine cut diamonds. All three gems are simply set in open crown collets leading to fine D-shaped band. All in a subtle rose coloured gold – a delight.
Cut – Round cabochon ruby and old mine / miner cut diamonds.
Colour – Diamonds are G.
Clarity – Diamonds are VS2
Carat – The ruby is approximately 0.80 carat with a combined estimated diamond weight of 0.40 carat.
Circa – 1900.
Size – P 1/2 (UK) or 7.75 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The edge of one diamond to the other is 14.6mm. The ring is 7.2mm at the widest point and sits 5.6mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k gold. Tested.
