0.65 Carat Old European Cut Diamond & Calibré Cut Sapphire Ring, 18k White Gold
An incredibly beautiful ring. The largest diamond – an old European cut – is secured in a milgrained rubover setting and centres the most incredibly detailed surround. With twenty-eight grain set eight cuts diamonds and thirty-two calibré sapphires of the most mesmerising bright blue arranged in curved, sweeping lines. The highly detailed basket-works leads to a slim shank set with a further six (three either side) eight-cut diamonds. A triumph.

Cut – Old European cut diamond in the centre. The smaller diamonds are eight-cuts. The sapphires are square & rectangular sapphire mixed cuts.
Colour – The centre stone is J. The smaller diamonds are G to I.
Clarity – SI2 in the centre. The smaller diamonds re VS1 to SI1; all are eye clean. The sapphires are eye clean.
Carat – The centre stone is a known 0.65 carat, with an overall approximate diamond weight of 0.90 carat. The total approximate sapphire weight is 1.15 carat.
Circa – The centre stone is from the early part of the twentieth century, circa 1920. The mounting is contemporary.
Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 16.65 x 16.85mm. Sits 5.9mm from the finger.
