1.69 Carat Square Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Platinum
An incomparably beautiful and rare diamond, presented in a striking and complimentary mount. The wonderfully proportioned central diamond dates from the middle of the 19th century, and set in a specially commissioned setting from around the middle of the 20th century. The four (two either side) high white princess cut diamonds in the shoulders deliberately emphasise the warm tone of the central stone. Rare, unique – and seriously beautiful.
Cut – Square old cut diamond, princess cut diamonds in the shoulders.
Colour – The centre stone is L, with F coloured diamonds in the shoulders.
Clarity – The centre stone is SI1, the diamonds in the shoulders are VS2 to SI1 in the shoulders. All diamonds are totally clean to the naked eye.
Carat – 1.69 carat in the centre, with an additional approximate of 0.32 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – The diamond is circa 1850, set in a mount from circa 1970.
Size – K 1/2 (UK) or 5 3/8 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The diamonds is 6.6mm by 6.5mm and sits 6.6mm from the finger.
Metal – Platinum. Tested.
