3.66 Carat Fancy Light Yellow Diamond Engagement Ring, 18k Yellow Gold
A huge – and hugely impressive – diamond solitaire. The central stone weighs in at hefty 3.66 carat and displays a distinct yellow hue. The irregularly shaped diamond, cut and polished in the mid-Victorian era, is set in a striking and geometric setting. The hexagonal collet features triangular detailing in the gallery, leading to slim gold band set with ten eight-cut diamonds in each shoulder. An immense one-off.
Accompanied by a diamond grading report from HRD Antwerp (#190000156837).
Cut – Cushion shaped old mine cut, with eight-cut diamonds in the shoulders.
Colour – N to O; tinted yellow. (The diamonds in the shoulders are F to G.)
Clarity – SI1. (The diamonds in the shoulder are VS2 to SI1.)
Carat – The central diamond is 3.66 carat, with a further approximate 0.07 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – The diamonds is mid 1800’s, in a handmade mount.
Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The diamond is 9.69 x 8.48mm and sits 7.5mm from the finger.
