Art Deco 0.25 Carat Old Cut Diamond Swirl Ring, circa 1920
A desperately pretty Art Deco ring. The old European cut diamond in the centre is rubover set in platinum, and sits in a vented, asymmetrical design; the beaded and milgrained ‘ribbons’ in the surround are set with eight rose cut diamonds, leading to a slim and tapering 18k yellow gold shank.
Cut – Old European cut diamond in the centre with rose cut diamonds in the surround.
Colour – The centre is G, with H to I diamonds in the surround.
Clarity – The centre is VS1. The surround diamonds are eye clean.
Carat – The diamond is approximately 0.25 carat, with a further approximate 0.05 carat in the surround.
Circa – 1920.
Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 17 x 9.65mm. Sits 3.9mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow gold and platinum. Tested.
