Art Deco 0.29 Carat Old Cut Diamond & Calibré Cut Sapphire Ring, circa 1920
A wonderfully pretty Art Deco ring. At the centre is a white and bright old European cut diamond rubover set in milgrained platinum, which “floats” within a finely pierced surround featuring a further 18 rose cut diamonds. Two rows of six royal blue step-cut sapphires are channel-set and “north” and “south” of the ring. Sits nice and low the finger on a slim, 18k yellow gold shank.
Cut – The centre diamond in an old European cut and the remaining diamonds are rose cuts. The sapphires are calibré step cuts.
Colour – The centre diamond is F. The remaining diamonds are H to I.
Clarity – The centre diamond is SI1. The outer stones are SI1 to SI2.
Carat – The centre diamond is approximately 0.10 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.29 carat. The total approximate sapphire weight is 0.24 carat.
Circa – 1920.

Measurements – The ring is 11.5mm at the widest point and sits 5mm from the finger.
