Art Deco 0.30 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, American, circa 1930
A charmer of a ring. The old cut diamond in the centre is set in a box collet with fine detailing in the gallery. The proud shoulders feature six (three either side) claw set eight-cut diamond in white gold leading to to a slim yellow gold shank.
Cut – Old mine cut in the centre with eight-cuts either side.
Colour – J.
Clarity – SI2 in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders are SI1 to SI2. All the diamonds are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – Approximately 0.30 carat in the centre, with an additional approximate 0.12 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1930.
Condition – A little bit of damage to the side where this was worn next to a wedding band. This does not affect the integrity of the ring.
Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The diamond is approximately 4.3mm in diameter. Sits 5.9mm from the finger.
Metal – Stamped 14K – 14k white and yellow gold – and tests as such.
