Art Deco 0.30 Carat Transitional Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1940
An achingly lovely vintage engagement ring. The transitional cut diamond the centre is bright and impressively lively. The stone is secured in an eight-claw collet with an open gallery above a scalloped back plate. The graduating shoulders are set with four (two each side) eight-cut diamonds, leading to a slim platinum shank.
Internally engraved: CK to Isobel. This can be removed if you prefer.
Cut – Transitional cut diamond in the centre, with eight cut diamonds in the shoulders.
Colour – H.
Clarity – VS1.
Carat – The centre stone is approximately 0.30 carat, with a further approximate 0.07 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1940.
Measurements – The diamond is approximately 4.3mm in diameter and sits 5.8mm from the finger.
Size – I (i) 1/2 (UK) or 4.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
