Art Deco 0.40 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1920
Such a pretty ring. The cushion shaped old cut diamond in the centre is set in an eight-claw platinum collet. The beautifully detailed platinum shoulders each hold three eight-cut diamond, leading to a fine 18k yellow gold band. An utter charmer.
Cut – Old mine / miner cut in the centre and eight-cut diamonds in the shoulders.

Carat – 0.40 in the centre, with a further estimated 0.06 in the shoulders.
Condition – The base of the band is slightly thin; this can be re-shanked when sized.

Size – L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The diamond is 4.5mm by 4,3mm and sits 5.9mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k gold and platinum. Stamped.
