Art Deco 0.45 Carat Sapphire Solitaire Ring, circa 1930
A wonderfully unique diamond solitaire ring which would work equally as well as an alternative style engagement ring or a piece for the right hand. The natural and unheated sapphire in the centre is ideal cornflower blue, and is rubover set in platinum. With twenty-two eight-cut diamonds set in the split shoulders and around the centre stone, this is a classic early 20th century style.
Cut – Round faceted sapphire and eight cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are G.
Clarity – All the stones are very clean; VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The sapphire is approximately 0.45 carat. The total estimated diamond weight is 0.22 carat.
Circa – 1930.
Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The top of the ring is 4.75mm widening to 9.2mm. The ring sits 3.4mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k gold and platinum. Tested.
