Art Deco 0.49 Carat Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1925
A stunning and unique antique diamond ring. The old mine cut in the centre – gauged at just under 0.40 carat – is rubover set in milgrained platinum. Eight platinum spokes hold the diamond in the centre, with eight eight-cut diamond set in the border. The platinum top of the ring sits on a 18k yellow gold gallery, leading to a slim D-shaped shank.
Cut – Old mine cut diamond in the centre with eight-cut diamonds in the surround.
Colour – The centre is I. The diamonds in the surround are G to H.
Clarity – The centre is SI1. The diamonds in the surround are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The diamond in the centre is approximately 0.37 carat, with a total approximate weight of 0.49 carat.
Circa – 1925.

Measurements – The head of the ring is 14.1 x 14.9mm and sits 7.1mm from the finger.
