Art Deco 0.49 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1925
A beautifully stripped back antique engagement ring. The old mine cut diamond in the centre – weighing a breath under half a carat – is white, bright and lively. The stone is secured in a four claw collet with marquise shaped detailing in the gallery, leading to a slim platinum shank that has a slight curved flourish at the shoulders. Desperately pretty.
