Art Deco 0.50 Carat Diamond & Sapphire Trilogy Ring, circa 1920
A charmer of a ring. The central old cut diamond is high white and full of life, and is flanked by a pair of natural (no heat) cornflower blue sapphires. Two sets of double diamond spacing stones, set in geometric “V’s,” add further detail. The closed gallery is sandblasted, leading to a weighty yellow gold band.
Cut – Old mine / miner cut diamond in the centre, with eight-cut diamonds and old cut sapphires.
Colour – Diamonds are VS2.
Clarity – Diamonds are H.
Carat – The centre diamond is approximately 0.50 carat, with an additional estimated 0.08 carat. The sapphire are approximately 0.20 carat each.
Circa – 1920.
Condition – Some of the detailing to gallery has rubbed wear this ring was stacked with another ring.
Size – T 1/2 (UK) or 10 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down. There is some limit to how much this can be sized down, so please contact us first.
Measurements – From the outer edge of one sapphire to the other is 14.8mm. The ring is 6.4mm at the widest point and sits 3.8mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k gold. Tested.
