Art Deco 0.50 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1915

Classy and elegantly simple. The diamond and its milgrained rubover setting were originally on a stickpin. The reality being that no-one uses stickpins – and that this was a particularly lovely diamond – we decided to set the diamond on a slim and simple platinum shank. The end result is super wearable and very, very pretty.

Cut – Old mine cut.

Colour – J.

Clarity – VS1.

Carat – Approximately 0.50 carat.

Circa – The diamond and the bezel setting are from circa 1915. The shank is new.

Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The centre diamond, including the setting, is 5.7 x 5.5mm. Sits 3.3mm from the finger.

Metal – Platinum.
