Art Deco 0.50 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1920
Very, very, pretty. The round old cut diamond in the centre is rubover set in platinum with nice “U” detailing in the gallery. The beautifully detailed shoulders feature six (three each side) eight cut diamonds in the shoulders to a slim platinum shank.

Cut – Old mine cut in the centre (with eight-cuts in the shoulders).
Colour – J in the centre (G to J in the shoulders).
Clarity – VS2 in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – A known 0.50 carat in the centre. With an additional approximate 0.04 carat in the shoulders
Circa – 1920.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 5.75mm in diameter. Sits 4.9mm from the finger.
Size – L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal – Stamped PLAT – platinum – and tests as such.
