Art Deco 0.50 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1920
An absolutely wonderful antique engagement ring. The very slightly cushion shaped old mine cut diamond is secured in a six claw platinum collet, with striking organic shaped detailing in the gallery. Yellow gold spear shaped shoulders are set with six (three each side) eight-cut diamonds of graduating size, conforming to a slim 18k yellow gold shank.

Cut – Old mine cut (with eight-cuts in the shoulders).
Colour – H (F to G in the shoulders).
Clarity – VS2 (VS2 to SI1 in the shoulders).
Carat – 0.50 (with a further approximate 0.09 carat in the shoulders).
Circa – 1920.
Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The diamond is 5.1 x 5.4mm and sits 5.6mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow gold. The centre diamond in set in platinum. Tested.
