Art Deco 0.52 Carat Old Cut Diamond & Sapphire Pendant, circa 1935
An incredibly pretty vintage necklace. A white and bright old mine cut diamond, rubover set in rose gold, sits at the centre of the pendant with four rose cut diamond-set flower motifs in the surround. A solid, circular outer border hands from a diamond set ‘V’ leading to a two curves; one diamond set, one set with baguette cut sapphires. On a fine, 17 inch cable chain.

Cut – Old mine cut diamond in the centre, with rose cut diamonds in the flowers and along the top. The sapphire are baguette cuts.
Colour – The centre is H, with G to I colour diamonds in the surround.
Clarity –The centre stone is SI2. The smaller diamonds are SI1 to I1; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The centre stone is approximately 0.45 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.52 carat.
Circa – 1935.
Measurements – The bottom, circular part of the pendant is 19mm in diameter. From top to bottom, the pendant is 37.3mm.
Metal – 18k white, yellow and rose gold. Tested.
