Art Deco 0.53 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1915
An exceedingly beautiful diamond engagement ring. The centre stone – coming in at just over half a carat – is secured in an eight claw coronet collet, and is framed stylised trefoil platinum shoulders to a slim, 18k yellow gold shank. An absolute stunner.

Cut – Old mine cut in the centre with eight-cut and old cut diamonds in the shoulders.
Colour – K in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders are H to I.
Clarity – VS1. The diamonds in the shoulders are SI1 to SI2; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The centre stone is a known 0.53. The total approximate weight of the diamonds in the shoulders 0.08 carat.
Circa – 1915.
Size – R (UK) or 8 5/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The diamond is approximately 4.8mm in diameter and sits 5.9mm from the finger.
Metal – Stamped 18CT & PT – 18k yellow gold and platinum – and tests as such.
