Art Deco 0.55 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1935
The slightly cushion shaped old cut diamond is bright and beautiful, and is showcased in a wonderfully pretty platinum mounting. Secured by eight claws above a scalloped back plate, leading slim band with diamond set shoulders. Impeccable.

Cut – Old mine cut, with eight-cut diamonds in the shoulders.
Colour – H. The diamonds in the shoulders are F to H.
Clarity – VS2. The diamonds in shoulders are VS2 to SI1; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The centre stone is 0.55 carat, with an additional approximate 0.05 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1935.
Size – L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The diamond is approximately 5.5 x 4.9mm. The ring sits 6mm from the finger.
