Art Deco 0.55 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, French, circa 1935
A stunningly pretty Art Deco engagement ring. The old European cut diamond in the centre is high white and bright, and set in a finely milgrained rubover setting. The V-shaped detailing in the gallery contrasts beautifully with the scalloped cup that sits on the finger. Six (three either side) further old cut diamonds are rubover and milgrained set in the shoulders, leading to a slim, double-fluted white gold shank.
Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30306788).
