Art Deco 0.65 Carat Sapphire & Eight-Cut Diamond Ring, circa 1930
A desperately pretty ring. The exceptionally bright sapphire is rubover and milgrain set and flanked on each side by a trio of eight-cut diamonds. The nearly pierced gallery leads to a thin and sharply tapering yellow gold shank.
Cut – Oval cut sapphire and eight cut diamonds.
Colour – Diamonds are G.
Clarity – The sapphire is clean to the naked eye; the diamonds are VS1.
Carat – The sapphire is approximately 0.65 carat, with a total estimated diamond weight of 0.24 carat.
Circa – 1930.
Measurements – From the outer edge of one diamond to the other is 15.2mm. The ring is 6.8mm at the widest point and sits 4.2mm from the finger.
Size – P 1/2 (UK) or 7.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal – 18k yellow gold. The gems are set in platinum. Tested.
