Art Deco 0.67 Carat Brownish Pink Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1930
Desperately beautiful. A highly unusual diamond in a quite lovely ring. The central stone, a cushion shaped old mine cut, is a light fancy brownish pink. Set in a square collet with decorative shoulders which feature eight eight-cut diamonds and a pair of baguette cut diamonds. Delicate, intricate and strikingly unusual.
Cut – Cushion shaped old mine / miner cut. The diamonds in the shoulders are eight cut and baguette cuts.
Colour – The central stone is a light fancy brownish pink. The accent diamonds are G.
Clarity – SI1. The diamond is clean to the naked eye. The accent diamonds are VS.
Carat – 0.67 in the centre, with a further estimated 0.26 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1930.
Size – L 1/2 (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The diamond is 5.4mm by 5mm and sits 5.3mm from the finger.
