Art Deco 0.68 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1920
Antique engagement rings don’t come prettier than this. The old mine cut diamond in the centre – graded by HRD as H colour, VS1 clarity – is secured in a four claw collet which features distinctive geometrical detailing in the gallery. The high shoulders are set with six (three each side) eight-cut diamonds, with more strong detailing in the gallery, leading to a slender court shaped shank.
Accompanied by a diamond identification report from HRD (#180000145883).
Cut – Old mine cut (eight-cuts in the shoulders).
Colour – H (with F to G in the shoulders).
Clarity – VS1 (with VS1 to VS2 diamonds in the shoulders).
Carat – 0.68 (with a further estimated 0.06 carat in the shoulders).

Measurements – The diamond is 4.95 x 4.88mm. Sits 6mm from the finger.
