Art Deco 0.68 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1930
An awesome vintage engagement ring. The old mine cut diamond – graded by HRD as I colour, VS1 clarity – is glowingly white, internally clean and impressively lively. The centre stone is secured in a six claw coronet collet and is framed by six (three each side) eight-cut diamonds box set in a step down formation.
Accompanied a diamond grading report from HRD Antwerp (#180000034603).
Cut – Old mine cut in the centre, with eight-cut diamonds in the shoulders.
Colour – I (with F to G in the shoulders).
Clarity – VS1 (the diamonds in the shoulders are VS1 to VS2).
Carat – 0.68. With an additional approximate 0.06 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1930.
Measurements – The diamond in the centre is 5.10 x 5.40mm. Sits 6mm from the finger.
Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal – Platinum. Tested.
