Art Deco 0.70 Carat Old Cut Diamond & Emerald Target Cluster Ring, French, circa 1920
A wonderful find. The fabulously pretty target cluster ring features white and internally clean old European cut diamond of approximately 0.70 carat in the centre. Rubover set in yellow gold, the centre stone floats within a surround of calibré cut emeralds – which in turn floats within a halo of twenty-five old cut diamonds. Beautiful scrolling engraving in the gallery and shoulders leads to slim yellow gold shank.
Cut – Old European cut in the centre, with old mine cut diamonds on the outside. The emeralds are calibré cut.
Colour – I in the centre. H to I on the outside.
Clarity – The centre stone is VS2. The outer diamonds are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The centre diamond is approximately 0.70 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.20 carat. The total approximate emerald weight is 0.65 carat.
Circa – 1920.
Size – J (UK) or 4 5/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 15.6 x 15.9mm and sits 4.5mm from the finger.
