Art Deco 0.70 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1935
A lovely and nicely substantial Art Deco platinum ring. The central old mine cut diamond – high white and bursting with fire – is set in a six-claw collet featuring to a heart motif gallery. Each of the high shoulders are set with three round brilliant cut diamonds leading to a solid D-shaped band. Incredibly blingy – and very, very pretty.
Cut – Old mine / miner cut in the centre, with round brilliant cut diamonds in the shoulders.

Clarity – The central diamond is SI1. The diamonds in the shoulders are VS1.
Carat –Approximately 0.70 carat in the centre, with a further estimated 0.60 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1935.
Size – K (UK) or 5 1/8 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Condition – The original diamonds in the shoulders have been replaced with modern diamonds.
Measurements – The diamond is 5.9mm by 5.8mm and sits 6.4mm from the finger.
Metal – Platinum. Tested.
