Art Deco 0.70 Carat Old Cut Diamond Three Stone Crossover Ring, circa 1940
A crossover old cut diamond ring with a twist. The trio of stones features a slightly larger and whiter diamond in the centre, while each diamond is secured by four split-claws and set upon an angular bypass band which is tapering, grooved, milgrained and set with two pairs of eight-cut diamonds. Delightfully flamboyant.
Cut – Old mine / miner cuts.
Colour – H in the centre. The outer stones are J.
Clarity – VS2.
Carat – The centre is approximately 0.30 carat, with a pair of 0.20 carat diamonds either side.
Circa – 1940.
Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). (Not including the sizing balls, which can be removed if you prefer.) Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – From the outer edge of one diamond to the other is 12.5mm. The ring 8mm at the widest point and sits 4.5mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k white gold. Stamped.
