Art Deco 0.75 Carat Light Yellow Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1930
A scintillating light yellow old cut diamond takes centre stage in this delightful platinum engagement ring. The cushion shaped old cut is secured in a four claw box collet, with geometric H-shaped detailing in the gallery. The graduating shoulders are pavé set with sixteen (eight either side) high white eight-cut diamonds, the colour of which showcases the bright lemon-y hue of the centre stone.

Cut – Old mine cut in the centre with eight-cuts in the shoulders.
Colour – Light yellow in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders are F to G.
Clarity – VS1 in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders are VS1 to SI1; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – A known 0.75 in the centre, with an additional approximate 0.20 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1930.
Size – I 1/2 (UK) or 4.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The diamond is approximately 4.8 x 5mm and sits 5.85mm from the finger.
Metal – Platinum. Tested.
