Art Deco 0.75 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1920
An unbelievable old cut engagement ring. The cushion shaped diamond – graded by HRD Antwerp as F colour, VVS2 clarity – is of the absolute highest quality; blindingly white, internally clean and bursting with fire and brilliance. The stone is secured in a four claw collet with eye-catching geometric detailing in the gallery. Milgrained, reverse tapering shoulders are set with eight (four each side) eight-cut diamonds of graduating size to a fine platinum shank. Stunningly crafted.
Accompanied by a diamond grading report from HRD Antwerp (#210000182325).
Cut – Old mine cut in the centre with eight-cuts in the shoulders.
Colour – F (the diamonds in the shoulders are F to G).
Clarity – VVS2 (VS1 to VS2 in the shoulders).
Carat – 0.75 in the centre (with a further approximate 0.13 carat in the shoulders).
Circa – 1920.
Size – J 1/2 (UK) or 5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The diamond is 5.55 x 4.92mm and sits 6.4mm from the finger.
