Art Deco 0.75 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1920
A desperately lovely Art Deco diamond ring. The old European cut in the centre is high white, internally very clean and alive with fire and brilliance. The stone is secured in a four claw square collet with wide, reverse tapering shoulders set with four (two each side) eight-cut diamonds of graduating size. Further eight-cuts are set in the raised flourishes at the base of the shoulders. Beautifully geometric.
