Art Deco 0.75 Carat Sapphire & Diamond Ring, circa 1935
Such a sleek, classy Art Deco ring. The rubover set step-cut sapphire in the centre demonstrates a deep inky blue with flashes of indigo. Eight (four each side) eight-cut diamonds are in the vented shoulders with geometric detailing in the gallery to a slim, white gold shank. Very cool.
Cut – Square step-cut sapphire and eight-cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are F to G.
Clarity – All the stones are clean to the naked eye. VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The sapphire is approximately 0.75 carat, with a total approximately 0.12 carat.
Circa – 1935.
Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is approximately 5 x 5mm. The ring is 6.3mm at the widest point and sits 4mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k white gold. The gems are set in platinum. Tested.
