Art Deco 0.77 Carat Old Marquise Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1945
A wonderfully quirky diamond engagement ring. The old marquise cut diamond is internally clean, displays plenty of fine with a warm, soft champagne hue. The centre is secured in a six claw platinum collet, with diamond set spear-shaped shoulders to a slim yellow gold shank.

Cut – Old marquise cut in the centre with old mine cut and eight-cuts in the shoulders.
Colour – The centre is light yellow (P). The diamonds in the shoulders are I to J.
Clarity – The centre is VS2. The diamonds in the shoulders are SI1 to SI2; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – A known 0.77 in the centre, with an additional approximate 0.13 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1945.
Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The diamond is approximately 8.2 x 5mm and sits 4.7mm from the finger.
