Art Deco 0.78 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1940
A devastatingly beautiful old European cut diamond engagement ring. The centre stone – weighing a known 0.78 carat – is internally very clean and displays a very subtle champagne hue. The centre is set in a four claw collet with squared off, milgrained claws. The highly detailed shoulders contrast with the rigid geometry of the setting, and leads to a slim 18k yellow gold shank.
