Art Deco 0.79 Carat Light Fancy Cognac Old Cut Diamond Ring, circa 1920
A splendid and rather unique old cut diamond in a beautiful early 20th century mount. The centre stone is a light fancy cognac – very clean – and with heaps of fire and sparkle. The stone is rubover set in a square collet with heart motifs in the gallery, leading to beautifully detailed diamond set shoulders and a D-shaped yellow gold band. A classic solitaire engagement ring; but with a twist.
