Art Deco 0.79 Carat Modified Rose Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1920
Fabulously unique. This one-of-a-kind diamond is an experimental cut; somewhere between a modern round brilliant and a Georgian era rose cut, created in a time when cutters were experimenting with what a diamond could “do”. This lively stone, which holds a distinct yellow tone, is mounted in a fine, almost traditional, eight claw platinum mount. Unique and positively beautiful.
